Program Eligibility:
Only those students formally admitted to the School of Education and designated as “Seniors” with a 3.2 or above are eligible to participate in this program of study.
This program begins in the undergraduate student’s Senior year and the student must be within 30 credit hours of graduation. Nine credit hours of graduate courses are taken at the 500 graduate level during both Fall and Spring semesters.
Pre-requisites and Exit Requirements
SPED 508 - Practice Based Applications of Special Education is the pre-requisite, foundational course that must be taken before proceeding to any another SPED course. In addition to succesful completion of coursework, exit requirements consist of passing required licensure exams, successful completion of Practice Teaching, amd a passing score on the MAT Comprehensive Exam.
