Students must be Highly Qualified in at least two content areas. Highly Qualified requires 24 hours (12 upper division, 12 lower division) in two of the following Content Areas: Language Arts, General Science, Math, Social Studies. All students must complete Language Arts and at least one other content area. Content Area courses listed below do not fulfill Secondary Education major requirements:
