ARTS 316 - Painting: For Art Majors

This course introduces the traditions of painting as a medium for artistic expression. Students will investigate materials, techniques, history and concepts of painting. Art majors will build upon course content to critically develop conceptual ideas; develop a personal Vision and Style; research topics of personal and artistic interests; develop advanced technical skills; and create work of a high standard.
