COUN 579 - Pre-Practicum in Counseling

Students will learn and practice basic counseling skills with their classmates. They will learn counselor and client characteristics and behaviors that influence the counseling process, including age, gender, and culture. Aligns with NM Code 16.27.2.8.C.

Prerequisite: Admission to the College of Education.
