ENGL 097 - Introduction to College English

Credit Hours: 6

This course will help students refine their literacy skills to prepare for college success. Students will practice reading comprehension (inference, analysis, synthesis, and critical thinking) with a range of literacy and information texts. Students will utilize the complete writing process (including grammar/sentence structure) to produce paragraphs and short essays.

Prerequisite: ACCUPLACER placement
Level of Study: UG
