COUN 579 - Counseling Pre-Practicum

Credit Hours: 3

Designed to develop competencies in basic counseling skills and processes. Skills are introduced and practiced in class. Ethical concerns in the client/counselor relationship are discussed. Self-critique, peer critique, and supervisor critique of in-class demonstrations and videotaped interviews with peer clients provide further development of counseling skills.
